Job summary

DENSO's Battle Creek facility seeks a Maintenance Technician (2nd shift) to perform preventive and corrective maintenance across production and facilities. You will troubleshoot machinery, enter data into the work order system, and support TPM and 5S standards.

PLC and servo drive experience are required. Associate degree or high school diploma with 2–3 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing is expected; candidate must be able to read blueprints, and work with pneumatic, hydraulic,

Qualifications

• Associate degree or high school diploma or equivalent with 2–3 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of mechanical processes, welding, blueprints, electrical and pneumatics.
• PLC experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Repairs, modifies or assembles all DMNC manufacturing and facility equipment.
• Completes orders from the work order system.
• Inputs data into the maintenance computer.
• Uses all maintenance area equipment.
• Follows TPM concepts.
• Designs simple jigs and machinery.
• Troubleshoots problems and responds to Corrective Action Reports.
• Works with pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems, PLC and servo drives.
• Mentors Maintenance Associates.
