Zusammenfassung

Jobot is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for the second shift to support a gluten-free snacks production line in Kentwood, MI. This on-site role involves troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and quick response to equipment issues to keep production running smoothly.

Ideal candidates will have industrial maintenance experience with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, the ability to read manuals and schematics, and familiarity with PLCs and VFDs.

Qualifikationen

Previous industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and experience diagnosing electrical issues.
Ability to read equipment manuals, electrical schematics, and technical drawings.
Experience with food processing or packaging equipment preferred.
Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting and VFDs is a plus.
Ability to prioritize repairs and work independently during second shift.
Availability to work 4:00 PM-2:00 AM.

Aufgaben

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance on production and packaging machinery.
Diagnose problems involving motors, conveyors, bearings, belts, sensors, and related components.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and identify the causes of recurring issues.
Assist with equipment installations, adjustments, and improvements.
Document maintenance work and communicate repair needs.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and lockout/tagout procedures.
