Job summary

Proper Beverage Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain, repair, and support production equipment on the Kentwood, MI site. You will help ensure equipment uptime, support operations, and execute machine changeovers to meet production schedules.

The role is full-time on second shift (2pm–12am); the ideal candidate has 3+ years of maintenance experience, strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, and solid troubleshooting and collaboration skills to support

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Attention to detail to ensure safe, high-quality work.
• Physical stamina to perform full shifts and manual tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
• Lead mechanical changeovers on production equipment and ensure proper setup before startup.
• Repair or replace defective parts and coordinate with procurement for spare parts.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation per procedures.
• Adhere to safety regulations and participate in safety trainings.
• Collaborate with production and other departments to understand equipment needs and priorities.
