Job summary

Essenti Talent is seeking a 2nd Shift Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for a food processing facility in the Greater Madison, WI area. The role offers a base rate of $31.00/hour plus premium overtime with time-and-a-half after 8 hours and double-time on Sundays, along with full corporate benefits.

You will work on high-speed conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and packaging machinery, performing troubleshooting, repairs, and overhauls while maintaining GMP compliance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of dedicated industrial mechanical maintenance experience in a fast-paced production setting.
• Strong background in hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors.
• Ability to perform basic structural welding and metal fitting.
• Comfort working in a food-safe GMP environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high-speed processing lines with mechanical troubleshooting and rapid fault-tracing.
• Service conveyors, drive assemblies, and perform repairs on gearboxes and belts.
• Diagnose and service high-pressure pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Execute structural modifications using MIG/TIG welding and fabricate brackets.
• Maintain regulatory compliance with sanitation and GMP guidelines.
