Job summary

Sun Recruiting, Inc. is seeking a 2nd Shift Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for a premier food processing facility in the Greater Madison, WI area.

The role features a base pay of $31.00/hour with premium overtime, a stable 2nd shift schedule, and a comprehensive benefits package. You will maintain high-speed packaging lines, troubleshoot hydraulics and pneumatics, service conveyors, and perform basic structural welding, all while upholding GMP and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ year mechanical maintenance in a fast-paced production setting.
• Basic structural welding, torch cutting, and metal fitting for repair work.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair high-speed processing lines and packaging equipment.
• Maintain conveyors and drive assemblies; service gearboxes and belts.
• Inspect hydraulic and pneumatic systems; perform safe overhauls.
• Weld and modify machinery frames and guards as needed.
• Ensure compliance with GMP and sanitation standards.
