Job summary

Finlays Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for the 2nd shift at the New Lenox, IL facility to maintain, repair, and improve manufacturing equipment. You will perform changeovers, preventive maintenance, and routine repairs to minimize downtime and ensure product quality.

The role requires hands-on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical skills, with safety and GMP adherence at the forefront of daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in food manufacturing or industrial maintenance preferred.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting knowledge encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate cross-functionally to drive process improvement.
• Perform preventive maintenance and calibrations on equipment.
• Read blueprints and manuals to install and operate machinery.
• Maintain safety and PPE compliance.
• Document repairs and parts in CMMS.
