Job summary

MarinoWARE is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to keep our production lines running safely and efficiently on the 2nd shift. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot machinery, and install/repair components on engines, conveyors, and hydraulic systems.

You will work with hand and power tools, maintain spares inventory, document actions, and collaborate with teams to minimize downtime. Welding is a plus; onsite work in East Chicago, IN with full-time benefits.

Qualifications

7–10 years of industrial equipment maintenance experience.
Welding experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on engines, motors, conveyors, and production machines, following manuals and specs.
Locate problem sources by observing equipment in operation and using precision measuring tools.
Dismantle devices to remove defective parts and inspect components.
Inspect parts with calipers and micrometers to determine dimensional changes.
Adjust parts using hand tools and alignment equipment to maintain proper operation.
Help minimize downtime by implementing preventive maintenance techniques and coordinating with production.
