Job summary

SPX Technologies is seeking an Industrial Brazer for the Monroe City, MO facility. This 2nd shift role focuses on brazing operations for specialty heating equipment, including hermetic seals and post-braze support.

You will work in a high-heat environment with tight tolerances and perform precision brazing and testing to ensure seal integrity. Responsibilities include preparing materials, operating gas burners up to 1200°F, and verifying solder flow and brazed joints.

Qualifications

• Prior industrial brazing experience.
• Experience with torches and high-heat applications.
• Experience in manufacturing or heavy industrial environments.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions and process documentation.
• Ability to work independently after training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials and components for brazing.
• Sandblast flanges and heating elements.
• Assemble heater components and operate gas burner systems to ~1200°F.
• Apply brazing rod and flux during heating process.
• Perform post-braze sandblasting and cleanup; support hydro testing.
