Job summary

SPX Technologies, including its TAMCO division, manufactures HVAC coils and related components. A Brazer will join a fast-paced operation to ensure leak-free joints that meet specifications.

This role emphasizes safety, quality, and on-time delivery, with focus on brazing copper tubing, assemblies, and adherence to engineering standards. High school diploma required, prior brazing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years or more of brazing, soldering, welding, assembly, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
• Ability to perform detailed work with a high degree of accuracy and consistency.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and maintain a clean, organized work area per 5S standards.
• Assemble coil components and prepare parts for brazing according to requirements.
• Perform brazing operations on copper tubes and related HVAC coil components.
• Read work orders and blueprints; set up and operate brazing torches and equipment.
• Maintain production output goals with quality workmanship.
