Job summary

SPX Technologies in Monroe City, MO is seeking an Industrial Brazer to support production of heating equipment on a 2nd shift (four 10-hour shifts, Mon-Thu). You will perform hermetic seal brazing, pre-burn brazing, and post-braze production tasks in a high-heat manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include preparing materials, sandblasting, assembling heater components, operating gas burner systems to about 1200°F, applying braze and flux, and ensuring solder flow and seal quality while

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial brazing and high-heat applications.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and process documentation.
• Capable of working independently after training.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Burn Brazing: Prepare materials, sandblast flanges and heating elements, assemble heater components, operate gas burners to ~1200°F.
• Post-Braze Production Support: Sandblast cleanup, support hydro testing and oven bake-out, follow instructions.
• Hermetic Seal Brazing: Install ceramic components, place seals, perform precise brazing and tests.
• Quality, Safety, and Work Practices: Maintain accuracy, wear PPE, follow safety rules.
