Job summary
Ferrara in Forest Park, GA is seeking an HVAC Mechanic to maintain and optimize our candy manufacturing facility's HVAC, steam, compressed air, refrigeration, and other utility systems. You will support product quality, equipment performance, and continuous production by ensuring reliable operation and safety.
The role requires overtime with varying start/end times and weekends; core hours are 4pm–4:30am. You will troubleshoot, service, and preventive maintain chillers, boilers, pumps, and air
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
- Experience with chillers and HVAC systems preferred.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing HVAC equipment and steam systems.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimize HVAC systems to ensure temperature/humidity control for production.
- Troubleshoot and service air compressors, blowers, and filtration systems to minimize downtime.
- Monitor and maintain chillers, boilers, pumps, and piping networks for reliability and energy efficiency.
- Support water quality testing and water treatment programs to protect equipment.
- Inspect and repair thermal oxidizer components to aid emissions control and compliance.
