Ferrara in Itasca, IL is seeking a 2nd shift HVAC/Maintenance Technician to maintain and optimize HVAC systems, chillers, boilers, and related equipment to support candy production quality and safety. Core hours are Mon-Fri 2:30pm-11:00pm with overtime as needed.

You will troubleshoot air compressors, water treatment, pumps, and piping; perform preventive and corrective maintenance; and document issues while contributing to energy efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Competenze

High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
Minimum 1 year experience with chillers and HVAC systems.
Experience with SAP or similar, Word and Excel.
Experience troubleshooting and maintaining boiler room equipment.

Mansioni

Maintain and optimize HVAC systems to support candy production quality and safety.
Troubleshoot air compressors, blowers, pumps, and filtration systems.
Support humidity control by maintaining dehumidifiers and related components.
Monitor chiller systems and refrigerant circuits for performance.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on steam systems and piping.
Document mechanical issues clearly, including photo evidence.
