Job summary

Grand Hyatt Denver is seeking a General Maintenance Engineer for the 2nd shift to perform maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting spaces, public and back-of-house areas. You will respond to guest room calls with outstanding service and handle mechanical repairs in kitchens and building spaces.

Strong communication and self-motivation are essential. The role requires availability on weekends and holidays, with shift hours from 3pm to 11:30pm.

Qualifications

• Technical Experience in a related field or trade (Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC/Refrigeration, Paint & Wallcovering).
• Excellent customer service experience.
• Good communication skills (Guests, Clients & Hotel Staff).
• Ability to follow safety and security policies and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Two to three years of previous hotel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest room calls in a timely manner and provide outstanding service.
• Perform general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting spaces, public and back-of-house areas.
• Conduct mechanical repairs as needed in kitchens, mechanical spaces and building interiors/exteriors.
• Communicate effectively and stay motivated during lower call volume periods.
