Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for the 2nd shift (2:00pm - 10:30pm, Tue-Sat) to keep the property in excellent condition and minimize disruption to guests. You will perform repairs and preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, read blueprints, and manage equipment readings.

Must have a High School diploma or equivalent with hotel maintenance experience preferred. The role requires flexibility with hours and the ability to communicate effectively with

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel maintenance preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Flexible schedule, long hours sometimes required.

Responsibilities

• Make repairs to hotel air conditioning system: change filters, clean coils, replace motors.
• Perform preventive maintenance on boilers, chillers, HVAC systems, electrical equipment.
• Take required readings on equipment and test systems.
• Replace and program televisions, switches, and light fixtures.
• Repair and finish sheet rock and wall coverings as needed.
• Maintain repair and preventive maintenance records in compliance with codes.
