Job summary

Hyatt Regency Denver at the Colorado Convention Center is seeking a General Maintenance Engineer for the 2nd shift. You will primarily handle preventative maintenance, general upkeep and repairs across guest rooms, meeting spaces and front-of-house areas to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

The role requires good communication and customer service, with the ability to walk, stand, and lift as needed. A minimum of one-year hotel maintenance experience is preferred; training will cover

Qualifications

• Minimum of one-year of consistent, large-scale building or hotel maintenance experience is preferred.
• Second-shift position with typical hours 3:00pm–11:30pm, schedule may change.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting spaces and front-of-house areas.
• Receive and address maintenance requests; assist with repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen and laundry equipment as needed.
• Maintain safety and guest service standards; communicate effectively with guests and team members.
