Job summary

Dover Imaging & Identification (DII) is hiring a Hot Melt Ink Production Cell Operator I for 2nd shift in Keene, NH. You will operate ink mills, mixers, and packaging lines, perform basic troubleshooting, and maintain accurate production logs while upholding 6S and lean principles.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, good reading/comprehension, math skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. A discretionary bonus may be earned based on performance metrics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and write and follow written instructions.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
• Clear vision and ability to distinguish between colors.
• Frequent standing, kneeling, bending and/or lifting.
• Pulling up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing operations according to standards (SOPs) and safety requirements.
• Operate ink mills, mixers, scales, packaging and other production equipment.
• Perform equipment changeovers and basic troubleshooting on ink mills and mixers.
• Complete daily production logs and required reporting.
• Propose improvements in the activity scope.
• Maintain material supply level using just-in-time principles.
• Operate forklift to maintain raw material supply as required.
• Troubleshoot mechanical failures and process issues (automation including picks/place systems/robotics).
• Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Keep work area clean using 6S principles and sustainment.
