Job summary

Destaco is seeking a Hot Melt Ink Production Cell Operator I for the 2nd shift in Keene, NH. Join a world-class team manufacturing hot melt inks for consumer packaging, handling equipment operation, packaging, and safety requirements.

Responsibilities include operating mills and mixers, logging production, and supporting lean manufacturing. The role requires basic math, color discernment, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Competitive hourly base pay with overnight shift differential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and write, and follow written instructions.
• Basic math and measurement skills required.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and color discernment.
• Frequent standing, kneeling, bending and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate ink mills, mixers, scales, packaging equipment and other production lines.
• Perform equipment changeovers and basic troubleshooting on mills and mixers.
• Enter daily production logs and required reporting.
• Maintain material supply following just-in-time principles.
• Operate forklift to support material flow.
• Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Keep work area clean using 6S practices.
