Job summary

Markem-Imaje in Keene, NH is seeking a Hot Melt Ink Production Cell Operator I on the 2nd shift to support ink manufacturing, packaging, and material handling. You will follow SOPs, operate mills and mixers, perform changeovers, and log daily production data.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, good reading/writing, basic math, and strong dexterity. forklift experience is a plus in this onsite role.

Qualifications

• Reading and writing skills with ability to follow written instructions.
• Basic math and measurement skills are required.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
• Clear vision and ability to distinguish colors.
• Frequent standing, kneeling, bending and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing operations according to SOPs and safety requirements.
• Operate ink mills, mixers, scales, packaging and other production equipment.
• Perform equipment changeovers and basic troubleshooting on mills and mixers.
• Complete daily production logs and required reporting.
• Suggest improvements within the process scope.
• Maintain material supply using just-in-time principles.
• Operate forklift to supply raw materials to the line.
• Troubleshoot mechanical failures and process issues; participate in lean initiatives.
• Keep work area clean and organized following 6S principles.
