This 2nd shift role (3pm-11pm) is based in Decatur, IL, with a focus on monitoring test cells in a manufacturing environment and hands-on troubleshooting of hydraulic and electrical systems to ensure machines operate correctly. Qualified candidates will have an Associate's degree or equivalent, 2–4 years of related

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent working experience required.
• Master's degree is overqualified and not required.
• 2–4 years of industry experience preferred.
• Experience with hydraulics and/or electrical systems required.

Responsibilities

• Hydraulic troubleshooting: diagnose issues with pumps, valves, cylinders, hoses, and fluid contamination.
• Electrical troubleshooting: test and repair industrial electrical systems, wiring, relays, sensors, motors.
• Schematic interpretation: read hydraulic diagrams, wiring diagrams, manuals, and product docs.
• Diagnostic testing: use multimeters, pressure gauges, test equipment and related tools.
• Mechanical aptitude: understand mechanical assemblies, power transmission, fasteners and tolerances.
• Hands-on repair: replace components, adjust equipment, and reassemble systems.
• Functional verification: run equipment, confirm operation, document results, and identify anomalies.
• Preventive maintenance: perform inspections, lubrication, calibration, and fluid checks.
