Adecco is hiring a Cutting & Grinding Operator on the 2nd shift in Wheeling, IL. You'll operate cutting and grinding equipment to manufacture medical device components in a clean, safety-focused environment.

This full-time role offers hands-on training, teamwork, and growth opportunities with a Monday–Friday schedule and pay at $19.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and technical documents.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a team environment and learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate cutting and grinding equipment according to established procedures and production requirements.
• Set up and run machines using work orders, blueprints, engineering drawings, and manufacturing specifications.
• Inspect products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure quality standards are met.
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
• Troubleshoot minor machine or product issues and elevate concerns when needed.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, workplace organization, and safety programs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with team members and assist in other department areas when needed.
