Job summary

United Performance Metals in Northbrook, IL is seeking a Machine Operator/Warehouse Associate for the 2nd shift. You will run saws and cutting machines, load and unload materials, and verify parts meet customer and industry tolerances.

Qualifications

• Punctual and ready to work.
• Troubleshooting skills to think through problems.
• Mechanical sense or willingness to learn mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Run saws and cutting machines (training provided).
• Cut titanium, stainless, and nickel to tolerances.
• Load and unload materials.
• Ensure parts meet specs and quality standards.
• Keep machines running and adjust as needed.
• Troubleshoot basic machine or material issues.
• Ensure work area is clean and safe.
• Report problems when something's not right.
