NTA Precision Axle Manufacturing is seeking a Machine Operator for the 2nd shift in Carol Stream, IL. The role involves operating CNC machines, starting and stopping equipment, loading parts, and recording production and quality data on daily reports.

Starting wage is $19.00 per hour with additional shift differentials of $2.00 for 2nd shift and $3.00 for 3rd shift. Overtime and a strong safety culture are emphasized at this facility.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Basic mechanical knowledge of computerized machines, gauges and hand tools.
• Able to read and follow work instructions and inspection standards.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
• Willingness to learn and follow procedures; able to work 40+ hour weeks including potential overtime.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines used in the production of automotive wheel bearings.
• Start up and shut down machines; adjust as needed.
• Record quality inspection data and production information.
• Load/unload parts as required; supply components to hoppers or conveyors.
• Inspect components for defects and repair or replace as needed.
• Follow environmental, health, and safety rules.
