Job summary

Teasdale Foods, Inc. is hiring for General Labor on 2nd shift in Hoopeston, IL. The role includes supporting production, sanitation, warehouse and operations, with emphasis on safety, quality and adherence to GMP/SQF standards.

Training begins with 12-hour shifts; there is potential for shift adjustments as upgrades are implemented. The position requires flexibility to work across multiple departments, strong teamwork, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Excellent attendance and reliability expected.

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Follow all SOPs, GMP and SQF procedures.
• Maintain hygiene and report safety concerns promptly.

Responsibilities

• Support production, sanitation, warehouse and operations.
• Assist multiple departments and during changeovers.
• Maintain production flow and housekeeping.
• Support bean dump, soak deck, sorting belt and seamer/filler operations.
• Follow food safety procedures and document usage and inspections.
• Cross-train in multiple areas and support continuous improvement.
