Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a manufacturing associate to operate cleaning equipment for galvanizing preparation. You will handle components, load them into baths, inspect cleanliness, and adhere to safety rules. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required to meet customer needs.

You must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in conditions with cold, heat, and noise. Bilingual English/Spanish candidates are encouraged to apply, and eligibility to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, push/pull/lift up to 50 lbs, and reach to perform job functions.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with conditions including cold, heat, bright sun, noise, and nuisance dusts.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• Both English and Spanish Speaking individuals are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Run equipment that chemically cleans grease, scale, dirt, and other foreign matter from metal objects to prepare them for galvanizing
• Load objects onto cranes and racks or containers carried through chemical and rinsing baths
• Examine cleaned objects to ensure standards are met
• Follow safety rules and regulations
• Report hazards, violations, or injuries to the Team Leader, no matter how minor
• Work overtime and weekends as required by Team Leaders to meet customer needs
