Job summary

Valmont Industries is seeking a Temp - Material Handler to load, stage, and prepare products for galvanizing. You will inspect materials, operate hand tools and a crane, and support safe handling and housekeeping in the plant and yard.

The role requires reading and following instructions, basic math, and strong safety awareness. Shift options include morning, afternoon, and night with strict PPE compliance and teamwork driving productivity.

Qualifications

• Must read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to add, subtract, and read a tape measure accurately.
• Strong safety awareness and use of PPE as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare products and materials for galvanizing; hang items and stage tubular products.
• Inspect fixtures, chains and hooks for safety and repair needs.
• Hand wire parts to racks for pickling or galvanizing; move steel pieces by hand.
• Perform paddling and use air tools to improve galvanized product quality.
