Job summary

Jobtailor in New York, NY is seeking a manufacturing associate to operate chemical cleaning equipment, load objects on cranes, racks, or containers, and transport them through chemical and rinsing baths. You will inspect finished pieces to ensure standards, follow safety rules, report hazards to the Team Leader, and be prepared to work overtime or weekends as required to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, preferred
• Must adhere to Lindsay policies and procedures while maintaining a safe work environment
• Must be willing to stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, push/pull/lift up to 50 lbs., and reach to perform job functions
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with cold, heat, bright sun, noise, and nuisance dusts
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to add and subtract using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form
• Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including metguard boots, protective eyewear, hard hats, gloves, and ear plugs
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
• English and Spanish speaking individuals are encouraged to apply
