Job summary

Lindsay Corporation is seeking a galvanizing production worker in the United States to operate equipment that cleans metal objects prior to galvanizing. You will load objects on cranes and racks, run them through chemical and rinse baths, and inspect them to ensure standards are met.

Safety is essential; you must follow all rules, wear PPE, and be willing to work overtime and weekends as required by Team Leaders to meet customer needs. English and Spanish speakers are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
• Must follow Lindsay policies and procedures, while maintaining a safe work environment.
• Must be willing to stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, (push/pull/lift up to 50 lbs.) and reach to perform job functions
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with conditions including but not limited to cold, heat, bright sun, noise, and nuisance dusts
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to add and subtract using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
• Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (metguard boots, protective eyewear, hard hats, gloves, ear plugs, etc)

Responsibilities

• Load objects on cranes and on racks or containers that will be carried through a series of chemicals and rinsing baths.
• Examine cleaned objects to ensure standards are met.
• Must follow safety rules and regulations, including the reporting of any hazards, violations or injuries to your Team Leader, no matter how minor.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends as required by the Team Leaders to meet customer needs.
