Insteel Industries is seeking a reliable 2nd shift material handler to operate forklifts, move raw materials and finished product, and support production in a fast-paced industrial setting. This full-time role emphasizes safety, accuracy in basic inventory, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2+ years forklift experience (heavy materials preferred).
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to move raw materials and finished product.
• Load flatbed trucks with steel materials.
• Stage materials for production.
• Perform basic inventory entries and cycle counts.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Inspect product quality.
