Job summary

Insteel Industries seeks a Material Handler/Laborer to move materials in the warehouse, operate forklifts and cranes, and manage inventory entries. You will use spreader bars, banding machines, and packing tools while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

This role supports production and requires attention to detail in a heavy manufacturing setting. Applicants should meet the two-year forklift/crane experience requirement, comply with ALARA safety standards, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with basic math skills.
• Two years forklift and crane operation in heavy material handling.
• Equivalent combination of education and work-related experience may be acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and cranes to move materials within warehouse.
• Perform inventory transfers in the computer system.
• Use spreader bar and banding tools to secure materials.
• Maintain neat, safe work area and support production.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and follow ALARA safety standards.
