Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing’s Walker plant is seeking a 2nd shift Forklift Operator/Material Handler to move and stage parts, support inventory accuracy, and ensure timely material delivery to production lines. You will operate a forklift (Hi-Lo) and lifting devices, load/unload pallets, and help maintain safety and inventory standards in a fast-paced automotive environment.

High school diploma or GED required; 18+ with one month related experience or training; Hi-Lo driving experience preferred;

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• One month related experience or training; or equivalent.
• Previous material handling experience preferred.
• Hi-Lo forklift driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move materials and load/unload pallets to designated locations.
• Inventory materials on the production floor and provide materials to workers as needed.
• Weigh materials or products and record weights.
• Operate and control forklift to transport loads safely and efficiently.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and compliance with procedures on shift.
