Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a 2nd shift Forklift Operator/Material Handler for our Northlake, TX plant. The role involves operating a forklift, moving materials, and supporting inventory and material flow on the shop floor.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, organizing pallets, and ensuring on-time delivery of materials while maintaining safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. Some weekend work may be required; starting pay is $19/hr with a $1 shift differential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• One month related experience or training; or equivalent combination.
• Previous material handling work experience preferred.
• Previous HiLo forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English well enough to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely to move and transport materials.
• Unload, stack, and organize materials on the plant floor.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and assist in material provisioning.
