Job summary

Great Southern Wood Preserving, Incorporated is seeking a forklift operator for full-time work to move, load, and stack lumber products, ensuring accurate inventory handling and timely distribution.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have previous forklift experience.
• Lumber experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Moves levers and presses pedals to drive forklift and control movement of lifting apparatus.
• Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated area.
• Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
• Inventories materials on work floor, and supplies workers with materials as needed.
• Keeps record of inventory.
