Job summary

Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc. is seeking forklift operators for a full-time role to support the distribution of YellaWood brand lumber. This position offers competitive pay and a full benefits package.

Responsibilities include moving pallets, unloading and stacking materials, inventory recording, and assisting with material flow. A HS diploma or GED is preferred, forklift experience is required, and lumber knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have previous forklift experience.
• Lumber experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Move levers and press pedals to drive forklift and control movement of lifting apparatus.
• Position forks under, over, or around loaded pallets and transport load to designated area.
• Unload and stack material by raising and lowering the lifting device.
• Inventory materials on the work floor and supply workers with materials as needed.
• Keep records of inventory and assist with material handling as required.
