Job summary

Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc. is seeking forklift operators for a full-time position with competitive pay and a full benefits package.

Responsibilities include driving and operating lifting equipment, loading and unloading pallets, and maintaining inventory records. A High School diploma or GED is preferred, and prior forklift experience is required; lumber experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have previous forklift experience.
• Lumber experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Move levers and press pedals to drive truck and operate lifting device.
• Position forks and lifting platform to load pallets, skids, boxes, or materials.
• Unload and stack materials using the lifting device.
• Inventory materials on the work floor and supply workers as needed.
• Keep records of inventory.
