Job summary

Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc. is seeking forklift operators to join our full-time team. The roles involve moving pallets, loading/unloading, and maintaining accurate inventory for our YellaWood products. Previous forklift experience is required, with lumber experience a plus, and a full benefits package is included.

Qualifications

• Requires forklift operation experience.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Lumber experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
• Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated area.
• Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
• Inventories materials on work floor, and supplies workers with materials as needed
• Keeps record of inventory.
