Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a second shift forklift operator at our Richmond, KY plant. You will operate HiLo forklifts to move pallets and materials, maintain inventory accuracy, and support production flow while complying with all safety and environmental requirements.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED, at least 1 month of related experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work up to 12 hours/day including weekends.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English to perform duties safely and effectively.
• One month related experience or training; or equivalent education/experience.
• Previous material handling work experience preferred.
• Previous HiLo driving experience preferred.
• Must be able to work up to 12 hours per day including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and loading equipment to move pallets, skids, and materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory and supply materials as needed for production.
• Move materials within the plant efficiently and safely.
• Assist in safeguarding materials and preventing defects or contamination.
