Job summary

ProTrans International is seeking a Forklift Material Handler in Laredo, TX. The role involves loading, unloading, and moving materials within the facility and yards, using forklift and manual methods as needed.

You will operate a mobile scanner, complete shipping documents, and follow safety procedures daily. The position is full-time, with second shift scheduling and a weekend once per month. English proficiency is required; bilingual Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to read and follow work orders.
• Must pass forklift performance test.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders or instructions to identify materials to move.
• Load/unload materials from pallets and trailers using forklift or manual handling.
• Inspect items for identity, quantity and damage; segregate special handling items.
• Load materials into carrier vehicles and secure loads.
• Complete receiving/shipping documents per ProTrans specifications.
• Operate scanning equipment to record shipments and inventory.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety procedures.
