Job summary

Reser's Fine Foods, Inc. seeks a Food Quality Assurance Technician for the 2nd shift at the Deer Creek Potato Plant in Topeka, KS.

You will monitor critical process control points and document any food safety or quality issues, participating in corrective actions as needed. Qualifications

Associate degree in a science-related field.
Basic knowledge of GMPs, Food Safety and safety requirements.
Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.
Basic computer skills: e-mail, Word, Excel.
Regular attendance and punctuality required.

Responsibilities

Documents and reports food safety/quality issues and participates in corrective actions.
Assists with pre-operational inspection of production plant/equipment and related documentation.
Performs process verification checks at critical food safety/quality points per HACCP plans.
Participates in corrective actions when checks do not meet limits.
Verifies environment, temperatures, sanitizers and other safety-related conditions.
Maintains records and documentation following protocols.
Adheres to HACCP, GMP, foreign material control, sanitation and QA programs.
