Job summary

Reser's Fine Foods in Topeka, KS is seeking a Food Quality Assurance Technician for the 2nd shift (4pm - finish) to monitor critical process control points and document any issues. You will participate in corrective actions under HACCP guidelines and maintain production records.

The role requires an Associate degree in a science field or 1+ year QA experience, basic GMP knowledge, strong English communication, and ability to work on-site in a fast-paced food processing environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a science-related field or 1+ year QA experience.
• Basic knowledge of GMPs, Food Safety, and safety requirements.
• English reading/writing/speaking proficiency to understand such documents.
• Basic computer skills: email, Word, Excel.
• Regular attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Document and report food safety or quality issues and aid corrective actions.
• Assist with pre-operational inspections of plant/equipment.
• Perform process verification checks at critical points per the HACCP plan.
• Verify environment conditions such as temperature and sanitizers.
• Maintain records and documentation per protocols.
• Adhere to HACCP, GMP, sanitation and other programs.
• Train in HACCP and follow approved HACCP plans.
