Qualifications

• 2-5 years of supervisory experience or equivalent operations experience.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, machine capability, inventory and quality management.
• Knowledge of company products and their uses.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to make sound decisions based on analysis, knowledge and judgment.
• Ability to foster cooperative relationships with coworkers and internal/external customers.
• Basic computer proficiency and working knowledge of software applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily operations for a functional area within the organization.
• Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and process sequences to meet production and safety goals.
• Routinely inspect production areas and monitor worker activities for safety and standards.
• Analyze specifications and reports to determine production requirements and schedules.
• Make decisions on labor needs and resource allocation.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support staff as a technical resource.
• Review performance data to drive productivity improvements.
• Use inventory data and reports to analyze inventory performance and forecasts.
• Recommend improvements to production methods, equipment, and quality of product.
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards and company policies.
