Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Promontory, UT is seeking a Flight Inspector at Level 1 or Level 2 to join the Receiving Inspection Team, ensuring incoming material meets contractual and documentation requirements before acceptance into production.

Role requires disciplined inspection execution, ability to work with AS9100 or SQAR environments, and strong attention to detail; Level 2 adds two years of related experience and higher responsibilities.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required; Level 2 requires 2 years of related experience.
Experience with inspection for identity and dimensional conformance.
Experience with scientific instrumentation and hazardous materials disposal.

Responsibilities

Collect representative samples per engineering, regulatory and lab requirements.
Verify material identification and traceability during fabrication and testing.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, areas and equipment.
Ensure proper labeling and storage of materials per engineering requirements.
Communicate inconsistencies, deviations or safety concerns to relevant personnel.
Adhere to PPE and safety hygiene standards.
