Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Oxnard, CA is seeking a Flight Inspector – Level 2 or Level 3 for a 2nd shift (2:30pm-12am) on-site assignment. You will inspect spacecraft components visually, dimensionally and functionally to meet strict quality requirements, working from drawings and specifications.

The role requires precision measurement with calipers, micrometers, CMMs and other inspection tools, plus the ability to interpret drawings and coordinate with internal teams and suppliers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and related experience.
• No clearance required to start.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect visually, dimensionally and functionally on spacecraft components.
• Interpret drawings, specifications and inspection instructions.
• Use measuring devices (caliper, micrometer, gages) and CMMs.
• Accept, reject or rework nonconforming units as needed.
• Interface with internal teams and suppliers to ensure quality.
