Job summary

Northrop Grumman's Space Sector in Oxnard, CA seeks a Flight Inspector at Level 2 or 3 to perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections on spacecraft components on a 2nd shift (2:30pm-12am) under a 9/80 schedule. This onsite role requires US citizenship and attention to drawings and specifications.

You will use calipers, micrometers, gages and a CMM, interpret control plans, and verify conformance to requirements while communicating across teams.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with related experience.
• Experience using measuring devices (caliper, micrometer, gages).
• Ability to read drawings and specifications with GD&T understanding.
• US Citizenship required; strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Inspect spacecraft components using visual, dimensional and functional tests.
• Use caliper, micrometer and CMM to verify measurements.
• Interpret drawings and control plans; decide acceptance or rejection.
• Work in a cleanroom; communicate across teams and with customers.
