Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of slitter, laminator and/or pouch converting equipment experience.
• Willingness to work overtime, rotating shifts, weekends or holidays as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the laminator and slitter to form laminated packaging for pouch lines or finished stock.
• Set up and operate the pouch machines to form pouches of printed laminated films.
• Check quality at setup and during production; perform required tests and procedures.
• Sign-off on adhesive balance, coat weight, and measurements for pouch dimensions.
• Read job tickets to ensure finished stock meets customer specifications.
• Identify defects and coordinate with the packer to cull affected pouches.
• Maintain GMP compliance and safe operation of equipment.
