UPS is seeking a reliable Automotive Technician to join our fleet maintenance team. This role maintains a range of equipment including delivery vehicles, heavy duty tractors, and trailers from various manufacturers.

Technicians troubleshoot and service hydraulic brakes, air brakes, electrical and engine control systems. The position requires 2nd/3rd shift, Monday through Friday with some weekend work depending on location.

Formación

• Current automotive mechanical experience.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment and scan tools.
• Possesses full complement of personal hand tools.
• CDL Class B with airbrake endorsement or CDL Class A required.
• Willing to work 2nd/3rd shift; potential weekends.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work varied shifts.
• Wears required PPE and adheres to safety protocols.

Responsabilidades

• Meet DOT requirements and CDL qualifications as applicable.
• Operate vehicles and equipment; use standard and manual transmissions.
• Use power and pneumatic tools to perform maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow company safety policies.
• Complete scheduled workdays consistently and report to work on time.
