Job summary

ABB in Pinetops, NC is seeking an Assembly/Production role to support unit targets on the shop floor. You will read and interpret technical diagrams for assembly of products and operate with basic tools on site.

Responsibilities include assembling and packing, manual tool use, quality checks, and maintaining safe, organized work areas. A high school diploma and US work eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
• Knowledge and use of tools – tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools, as needed.
• Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs.

Responsibilities

• Conducting all types of assembly work to produce semi-finished or final products/systems/panels, including packing where integrated with production lines.
• Performing work manually or by using light hand tools.
• Carrying out regular quality testing as part of a defined production process.
• Operating within standard operating procedures and maintaining a clean work area.
