Job summary

ABB plant in Selmer, TN is seeking an Assembly role to support the unit in meeting production targets. You will read and interpret technical diagrams for assembly of products and operate on the shop floor with light hand tools, maintaining clean work areas and following procedures.

This onsite role reports to the Production Manager and involves third shift work. We offer standard benefits including health insurance, vision/dental, 401K, life insurance, paid vacation and sick time, with benefits

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing/Industrial experience preferred (2 years).
• This will be a third shift position.

Responsibilities

• Conducting all types of assembly work to produce semi-finished or final products/systems/panels, including the packing where integrated with production lines.
• Performing work manually or by using light hand tools.
• Carrying out regular quality testing as part of a defined production process.
• Operating within standard operating procedures and maintaining a clean work area.
