Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie, a leader in engineered structural connectors and solutions, is hiring a 2nd shift Fabricator in Riverside, CA. You will set up, program, and operate production machines, including automatic presses, turret presses, and press brakes, following work orders and drawings. Shift is 2:30 p.m.

– 11:00 p.m. with a $0.75 shift differential. The role includes fabrication/layout, troubleshooting, quality control, equipment maintenance, and training teammates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Strong communication and safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, troubleshoot, and operate one or more production machines (Automatic presses, Turret presses, and Utility presses) per work orders and drawings.
• Perform fabrication and layout tasks to meet production requirements and fabricate customer items as needed.
• Troubleshoot mechanical/process issues and verify part quality with measuring tools.
• Conduct basic equipment care and follow safety procedures.
• Train and assist other production employees on operations and safety.
