Job summary

Eaton is hiring a Machine Operator, Technician II, 2nd Shift to manufacture components per blueprints. The role requires operating a variety of sheet metal fabrication equipment and adhering to safety and quality standards.

You will cross-train across functions and report equipment issues promptly. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, reside within 50 miles of Greenwood, SC, and be able to work the 3:00 pm–1:00 am shift with good communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• No immigration sponsorship available.
• Candidates must live within 50 miles of Greenwood, SC.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture components using steel, aluminum and cast metals per blueprints.
• Set up, operate and perform routine maintenance on equipment like shears, Finn Power, Prima machines, laser tools.
• Maintain workflow and productivity, communicate delays promptly.
• Identify process improvements and perform root cause analysis.
• Measure parts with tape measures and calipers; inspect quality of output.
• Cross-train in other roles and support different functions as needed.
• Monitor machine operation and perform safety checks daily.
