Eaton in Arden, NC is seeking a FAB Machine Operator: Wire CoE on the 2nd shift to perform fabrication operations using metal processing machinery. The hourly rate for this position is $21 per hour.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and basic computer skills. This role requires the ability to read blueprints and perform setup, with safety, TPM, and 5S+ responsibilities integral to daily tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Internet) required.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration or relocation; candidates within 50 miles of Arden, NC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observe safety rules and hygiene regulations.
• Receive and understand work assignments from Supervisor.
• Set up operation on PLC, Analog, or Manual control machines.
• Operate equipment to produce parts and interpret work orders.
• Complete paperwork and system transactions.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and materials for continuous operation.
• Inspect final component against specifications.
• Perform operator maintenance on machining equipment.
• Report abnormal situations and submit maintenance orders.
• Provide on-the-job training for new Operators.
• Perform TPM and 5S+ daily tasks.
• Complete other tasks from management or leads.
